Two single-vehicle collisions in Kitimat from the past few days have RCMP reminding drivers to be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions.
Last Saturday, police were called out to the 2400 block of Kitamaat Village Road for reports of the first collision.
Slippery conditions had caused the vehicle to flip and roll on to its side after losing traction.
Yesterday, police were again called out for reports of a vehicle incident, after a tractor trailer went into the ditch along Highway 37, near Onion Lake.
No injuries occured as a result of either incident, but police did need to help extract the vehicles from their post-crash positions.
Highway 37 is infamously known for its treacherous and slippery road conditions around this time of year.
Officers are reminding residents to slow down and drive according to conditions, which may change rapidly.
