Take your future into your own hands!
Are you an individual looking for meaningful employment or an employer or government agency looking to support the development of a strong, community-based, Indigenous-Led workforce?
Join the K5T team at the Career Forum, as we speak with, and gather input from local and regional community members and partners to collaborate on the development of a strong, Indigenous workforce by alleviating barriers and providing career development opportunities for Indigenous youth and adults.
The session will cover:
- accessing community-led programs that offer paid work experience
- learning about Tsimshian culture and traditions
- news about a major new funding announcement
- developing a career while completing grade 12 and post secondary credits.
Locally prepared food will be offered along with opportunities to connect with K5T about new employment-based regional programs and services.
This is a unique opportunity for employers to connect with employment and training leaders from local First Nation communities and learn about Indigenous culture and communication as well as opportunities to hire trained Indigenous professionals.
This forum will take place in-person. It will be recorded and available on request but there will not be a virtual attendance option. The event has limited capacity and registration is required.
