Northern Health saw more new Covid cases last week than the week before, but fewer hospitalizations, according to the CDC’s weekly report.
Between April 24th and the 30th, BC as a whole reported 2,283 new Covid cases, with 375 hospitalizations, and 50 deaths.
Of that, Northern Health contributed 128 new cases, up 10 from the week before, 20 new hospitalizations, down from 24, and one new death.
Prince Rupert lead the Northwest with 7 new cases, Terrace, Kitimat and Haida Gwaii each reported 6, and Smithers and Burns Lake saw 3 new cases each.
Prince George saw exactly half of the North’s cases last week, with 64.
