Two new dancers have been inducted into the Quesnel and District Arts Council’s Gallery of Honour.
Through the distinction, the Council recognizes those who have made significant contributions to the community via the Arts.
Last week, the Council introduced two new members during a joint event which also saw the launch of a new exhibit.
Larissa Munch, a member of the Nazko First Nation, was inducted for her leadership, advocacy, and traditional dance performances.
Elledae Armstrong was also inducted for her dance talents, covering multiple styles from jazz and ballet, to tap and musical theatre.
In addition to the new additions to the Gallery of Honour, the event also saw the launch of a new exhibit featuring two local artists.
That exhibit will run through May 6th, displaying the works of Sam Watters and Pat Hildebrandt.
