RCMP in Dawson Creek are looking for information on an attempted abduction, which took place in Pouce Coupe on Wednesday.
According to the RCMP report, a youth had been riding their bike in the area around 47th Avenue and Railroad Road when the abduction took place.
Sometime between 5:30 and 7:00 in the evening, a van stopped beside the youth, before two men grabbed the victim and pulled them in to the van.
After driving around for an undisclosed amount of time, the victim managed to escape unharmed, and ride their bike home, before calling police.
One of the suspects is described as a man in his mid twenties to early thirties, with dyed purple hair, and a distinctive black dragon tattoo on his forearm.
There is no available description of the other suspect.
Their vehicle, however, was a newer blue utility van, with opening rear and centre doors, instead of sliding doors, and no windows on the rear doors.
If you have dash cam footage of the area, or any information that may help police locate the suspects, you are asked to contact Dawson Creek RCMP at 250 784 3700.
