British Columbians will no longer need to wear masks while visiting most public indoor spaces, beginning at 12:01 tomorrow morning.
While health care settings will still require masks, it will now be an option for most other settings, though the vaccine card mandate will remain in place.
It will now be at the discretion of individual businesses and industries, such as transit or ferries, to decide whether or not they will require masking.
In addition, faith gatherings will be allowed to return to full capacity, and overnight child and youth camps will no longer need to have Covid safety plans approved.
Beginning on March 18th, long-term care visitation will be restored, with individual plans to be communicated by each facility.
Visitors to long-term care homes will still need to provide proof of vaccination, and submit to rapid testing for entry.
Mask mandates will be lifted for K-12 schools after Spring break, and childcare mandates currently under review.
Federally-regulated work places will still require employees to be masked.
Vaccine cards will still be required for entry in to non-essential settings and events until April 8th.
