A public consultation project to determine whether or not Quesnel’s citizens will support a different renovation process for the city’s pool was approved by the North Cariboo Joint Advisory Committee.
This consultation will start on May 2nd of this year, end on June 24th and the results will be presented to the committee by staff on September 13th.
Residents will be able to give their input via the “Let’s Connect Quesnel” online tool and at stakeholder meetings but no voting times have been set yet.
The total cost of this process is expected to be $35,000.
A $20 million renovation of the pool was rejected by residents in June of last year.
