British Columbians aged 60 and older will now be able to pick up Covid rapid antigen tests at their local pharmacies.
Prior to today, the tests were only available to those aged at least 70.
Each test kit comes with 5 tests, is free of charge, and available to each resident every 28 days at participating pharmacies.
When the province first announced the tests were being made available to the general public, they said the age ranges would rapidly expand.
As of last week, community pharmacies across the province have received close to 2 million tests.
