During yesterday’s order of BC ceremony, where many individuals were recognized for their achievements over the past year, the list of names honored included some high profile ones such as Dr. Bonnie Henry and Michael Bublé.
Bublé was given BC’s highest honor thanks to his charity work in BC as well as around the rest of the world while also being recognized for his musical success.
Dr. Henry received the honor for her work as BC’s top doctor during this pandemic.
Some other names that got recognition by being inducted into the order included ex BC finance minister Carole Taylor, artist Joe Average and Tsilhqot’in Chief Joe Alphonse.
All 31 inductees at this year’s ceremony were thanked by BC’s Lieutenant governor Janet Austin for making BC a better overall society.
