Thanks to the service they provide for Native Families and Children, the Carrier Sekani Family Services will be receiving one of two Champions for Native Children awards for the year 2022.
This award, which recognizes the biggest contributors to the well being of Indigenous peoples in Canada or the U.S, is given out by the American National Indian Child Welfare Association.
Warner Adam, the CEO of the Family Services, is going to accept the award virtually on April 4th, and he stated that he was honored to receive this accolade from a sister organization.
