It’s going to be another uniquely wintery affair in the Northwest today.
In Terrace and Kitimat temperatures will hit -20 with frigid winds gusting up to 60 km/h.
That cold will be joined by up to 20 cms of snowfall expected in Terrace, and Kitimat as well as Stewart, Atlin and Dease Lake today, prompting a snowfall warning.
Sections of the Cariboo, including Williams Lake and Quesnel are also facing snowfall warnings and expecting up to 25 cms.
On the roads, DriveBC is warning of slippery sections pretty much across the board in the Northwest, with compact and drifting snow expected as well.
