Prince George flyers who were looking to get home for the holidays this weekend had to wait a bit longer.
Nearly every flight out of the Prince George Airport on Saturday was cancelled after both de-icing trucks broke down.
The first truck broke down early last week, while a hydraulic pump blowing rendered the back up inoperable on Friday afternoon.
A locally sourced part was inadequate to repair the truck, and a replacement could not be acquired until Sunday evening.
A third de-icing truck was also secured as a back up, which is expected to arrive today.
