Northern residents should expect to be cold and covered in snow the next couple of days.
Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for inland areas of the Northcoast, including Terrace, Kitimat, Stewart, and New Aiyansh.
As much as 25 cm of snow is expected to hit the northwest over the next two days, with Kitimat also facing freezing rain warnings.
Moving to the east, Prince George and the Peace Region are facing snowfall warnings, with between 15 and 20 cm expected there.
Frigid temperatures and slippery roads are expected across Northern BC over the next two days, and drivers should drive according to weather and road conditions.
