BC Transit to Temporarily Reduce Service on Multiple Kitimat Routes

BC Transit is implementing short term weekend restrictions in Kitimat due to a labour shortage.

Transit users will see temporary reductions in service on four routes in town on Fridays and Sundays, moving forward.

Route 1A will see its sunday service start two hours later at 10:00, and have its final trip two hours earlier at 7:00.

Route 1B will see its two additional stops on Friday nights cut, meaning Friday service will match the rest of the week, starting its final trip at 6:35.

Routes 2 and 3 will each leave the city Centre for the first time two hours later on Sunday mornings, and for the final time 3 hours earlier.

Routes 2 and 3 will also see their added Friday trips cancelled, matching them up with the rest of the weekday schedule.
