While most displays of support outside the Prince George court house on Monday were peaceful, one resulted in an assault arrest.
A number of individuals arrested during the RCMP’s injunction enforcement on Wet’suwet’en territory arrived in Prince George for their court hearings on Monday.
Along with them came a number of rallies to show support for their cause, many taking place outside the court house itself.
RCMP say that the vast majority of those rallies remained peaceful and respectful, though one individual did not.
At around 3:00 in the afternoon, witnesses reported the woman in question becoming agitated, and eventually assaulting a Deputy Sheriff.
She will appear in court at a later date.
