Residents of the North will see a slew of power outages over the next few weeks.
BC Hydro will be conducting a number of planned outages to ensure equipment can hold up through the winter, and replace a number of power poles.
Most of the outages will see power dropped for an extensive period of time, in some cases the majority of the day.
Over 350 Kitimat residents will be affected by a full-day outage this Friday.
Some 350 residents in Fort St John will also be impacted by outages today, and multiple outages on the 29th and 30th.
Just over 100 Dawson Creek residents will be impacted by daily outages between November 28th and the 30th.
Smithers will see their outage on December 5th, though only around 50 customers will be impacted.
And Houston will see 950 residents without power for the majority of December 5th as well.
