Prince Rupert RCMP have located and arrested a wanted man

Prince Rupert RCMP have arrested a wanted man after he escaped police custody on Sept. 3.

Prince Rupert resident David Wagner was arrested yesterday on the 1500 block of 8th Ave. East. He is charged with assault, escaping lawful custody, failure to comply with a release order and obstructing a police officer.

Wagner is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
