Prince George RCMP have expressed their belief that three recent homicides are due to rising gang violence in the city.
Members of the Serious Crime Unit are working alongside the Street Crew Unit and Frontline members to determine if these cases are connected in some way and to find out who was involved in these incidents.
Police are currently asking all residents to stay vigilant and report any kind of suspicious incident in their neighborhood to the police.
There have been four total homicide investigations this year that police believe are connected, with three of them happening just this month.
