Applications for the Canada Post Community Foundation’s 2022 grants have now opened, with a special new grant for initiatives that advance reconciliation.
Titled the Truth and Reconciliation Signature Grant, the new grant will support educational initiatives for youth and children which increase understanding of Indigenous culture, and foster meaningful conversations on reconciliation.
It will join three other Signature Grants already offered for projects with a national scope, each worth $50,000.
However, the new grant is open to local and regional groups that represent Indigenous Peoples, and offer programs which support their communities.
In addition, a number of community grants are also available, worth $25,000 each.
