British Columbia is reporting 269 new cases of Covid-19, as of last night.
Of the new cases, 43 come from Northern Health, while 73 are from the Interior.
There are 258 active Covid hospitalizations in BC, with 49 in ICU.
One new death has been reported in both the North and the province.
There are currently 5 outbreaks at health care facilities province-wide, though none are in the North.
Indigenous Services Canada released their latest report earlier today on how Covid is impacting Indigenous communities.
As of today, there have been 93,154 confirmed Covid cases in First Nations communities, with 2,384 active cases.
There have also been a total of 3,068 hospitalizations since the pandemic started, and 686 deaths reported.
Across the country, First Nations communities have seen a 7.7 percent decrease in cases compared to 11 percent last week.
More than 88 percent of people 12 and older living in First Nations, Inuit, and territorial communities have received at least two vaccinations.
