RCMP in Fort St John seized multiple weapons and drugs after arresting a prolific offender and his partner.
Police arrested Gavin James Davis for breaching the conditions of his probation on March 18th.
That arrest led police to acquire a search warrant for his approved residence, where they found two loaded shotguns, and a significant amount of drugs packaged for sale.
Following the search, Davis’s girlfriend Amber Stertz was also arrested.
Davis, who was on probation for previous firearms and violent offenses, is now facing several new firearms, drug trafficking, and breach charges.
Stertz was also charged with firearm and drug trafficking charges, but was released to appear in court in June, while Davis is being held in custody.
