As of today, rapid antigen Covid-19 test kits are now available for people aged 40 or older at community pharmacies in BC.
People who are eligible can pick up a kit that contains 5 tests every 28 days from any participating pharmacy for free.
However, people will need to present their personal health number and date of birth when grabbing a kit.
So far, 7 million tests have been shipped out and 1.86 million rapid tests have been given out by more than 1,300 participating pharmacies.
More than 4 million tests are expected to be sent to BC by the federal government in the next three weeks.
