A snowmobile crash near Williams Lake this weekend has resulted in two deaths.
RCMP arrived at the scene of the crash, on the 1400 block of Mile 168 Road, just after 10:00 Saturday morning.
Members of the Williams Lake Fire Department, EHS, and Central Cariboo Search and Rescue were already on scene when police arrived.
Two individuals, a man and a woman, were found alongside the snowmobile at the base of a steep embankment.
Both individuals were pronounced dead on the scene, and identities will not be released.
An investigation in to the cause of the crash is on-going, and anyone with any information should contact Williams Lake RCMP at 250 392 6211.
