A Quesnel cafe and restaurant has been temporarily shut down for violating Covid regulations.
In October, Northern Health sent Granville Coffee a warning letter, claiming they were not checking for proof of vaccination.
But on Monday, after being caught again, the Authority forced the shop to close down temporarily.
Company President Ted Martindale followed the ban with claims on social media that he was being singled out, and that larger retailers are also not checking for proof of vaccination.
While he is able to reopen in just few days, Martindale has decided to keep the restaurant close while he contemplates its future.
According to social media comments, he does plan to reopen for Christmas Day.
