December 14th Covid-19 Update

British Columbia is reporting 1,129 new cases of Covid-19 between last Friday and Sunday.

That brings the province’s active case total to 2,949, with 72 in ICU.

Of the new cases, 78 come from Northern Health, while 200 are from the Interior.

Five new deaths were reported, with one in the North and none in the Interior.

There are 10 known active cases of the Omicron variant in BC, though an updated report on that is expected this afternoon.
