BC’s supply chain might be facing another big obstacle as the employees of a truck company are looking at starting their planned strike on Friday.
The Labour Union known as Unifor has recently informed truck company Prudential Transportation that a lot of their drivers will leave their posts later this week if the company doesn’t offer them better employment terms.
The company’s workers are asking to get better health, dental and insurance benefits for all their drivers as well as higher payouts for the time they spend waiting for their trucks to get loaded and then unloaded.
This strike is coming after the company just came to an agreement with a different trucking company in BC.
