Search crews looking for a missing rafter northeast of Kitimat after an incident over the weekend.
RCMP say they received an SOS message from a remote location along the Clore River when a raft overturned, dumping two men in the water.
Police say one man managed to get to shore while the other was swept away by the water.
A helicopter located the rafter on the shore while Terrace Search and Rescue crews with kayakers, ground crews and air support continue to search for the missing rafter.
He’s described as a 41 year-old Caucasian male, wearing a yellow and black lifejacket, grey helmet, and grey cargo shorts.
