A woman is in hospital recovering from serious injuries after being left at the scene of a motorcycle accident in Prince George.
RCMP received the report of the single vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 97 and 22nd Avenue early Friday morning.
Investigators believe the the motorcycle’s rider failed to navigate the corner due to a high rate of speed and left the road.
When responders arrived, they found a female passenger suffering from serious but non-life threatening injuries, while the driver had fled the scene on foot.
The woman was taken to hospital.
Speed and alcohol are both possible factors and police are working to identify the male driver.
