Moose Hide Campaign Day is May 14th, let’s stand together and stand up against violence.
Every two and a half days, a woman or girl is murdered in Canada. Indigenous women are six times more likely to be victims of violence. One in three women will experience sexual assault in their lifetime. These aren’t statistics, they are our mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends.
The Moose Hide Campaign is a call to action to end gender-based violence. It recognizes that violence is unacceptable in all forms and that real change happens when men, boys, and entire communities take a stand. This isn’t about shame or blame, it’s about healing, accountability, and creating a safer future for all.
We wear the moose hide pin as a symbol of commitment, and you can too.
