Quesnel RCMP said that a driver of a pickup truck has passed away after his vehicle left the roadway on Friday June 12th.
On Friday June 12th RCMP reciver a report at 6:57pm that a pickup truck was speding and passing unsafley. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
Later at 8:21pm RCMP recived a report of an Iphone carash notification on Highway 26 near Slough Creek 2100 Forest Service Road.
The driver who was the sole occupant was ejected from the vehicle.
Emergency crews attended the scene and attempted life saving measures on the 29-year-old man however, the man did not survive.
“The vehicle involved in the collision was the same vehicle from the earlier driving complaint, The investigation is still ongoing. Speed and alcohol are suspected to be a factor in the collision.” – Sgt. Clay Kronebusch
