Public feedback has led to some changes in the final design plan of the new Mills Memorial Hospital in Terrace.
Last fall, Northern Health released their initial draft exterior design to the public, and used the feedback received to advise the changes.
As part of the new design, the orange panels which covered much of the building in the original design will be replaced by white and grey panels.
In addition, the top level of the facility will now feature a lighter colour scheme than originally drafted.
Northern Health says the new colours will give the building a more neutral look, which blends in to Terrace’s mountainous landscape.
