Online Auction and Meal Train Organized to Support Family of the Victims of Fatal Highway 37 Crash

An online auction and Meal Train has been organized to support a northwest family dealing with tragedy.

On Friday, a multi-vehicle collision between Terrace and Kitimat claimed the lives of three community members.

They were later identified as Centennial Christian School students Ashton and Kylie Hesketh, and their mother Elizabeth.

Now, community members have come together to start an online auction and Meal Train to help support the families they left behind.

Held through Facebook, the auction features people posting items they wish to donate, and subsequent bids from commenters.

All funds raised by the auction, which you can find at this link, will be donated to the childrens’ father, Dan Hesketh, to support funeral and other expenses.

In addition, organizers have launched a Meal Train, linked here, which will run until the end of the month.

Meal Train is an online platform which people can use to have home-made food donated and delivered to the family.

Gift cards can also be donated through that platform, and monetary donations can also be sent in via the auction page.
