In March of last year, the entire world seemed to pause after countless countries tried to get a hold on the COVID-19 virus that had rapidly become a pandemic.
There was a lot of uncertainty and heartbreak, but also a lot of adaptation and light. One of those bright spots came in the form of a group of very dedicated and spiritual people, gathering outside the University Hospital of Northern BC, for 40 days and 40 nights to drum and pray and pay tribute to the front line workers tackling the virus head-on.
While the group isn’t meeting every night anymore, they congregate every Monday evening to continue to show their support to the health care workers, but also to bring something positive to those suffering in hospital from COVID as well.
Tonight’s guest is one of the people who first took part in the drumming circle, and he’ll talk about that in the second half of our program.
But in the first part? Well, Ivan Paquette will talk about the exciting path that lead him to where he is today, an active part of the arts community, a spiritual leader, and musician with great stories to tell
