Marvel Studios recently released its Indigenous Voices issue which features the work of many different Indigenous artists and storytellers, including tonight’s guest, Kyle Charles.
Kyle is Cree from the Whitefish Lake First Nation band, and has been drawing since he was a kid. His personal story of staying true to himself and persevering in order to achieve his dream of becoming a comic book illustrator is what we’re about to hear, all the way from being born in Edmonton, to living in a vehicle as a young man, embodying the writings of the late Jack Kerouac.
