Inland sections off the North Coast will likely be getting a blast of winter today.
A deep low pressure system off Vancouver Island will be moving north towards Terrace and Kitimat and bringing a fair bit of snow with it.
Today we could be expecting 20 to 30 cm to fall. As well as the snow, strong winds will be rolling in with gusts of 50 km/h gusting up to 70.
Highways and surfaces could become difficult to navigate due to the snow. Be sure to stay up to date with all storm warnings by checking Environment Canada.
