Prince George RCMP issued a fine of $368 to a motorcyclist following a collision.
Yesterday morning, RCMP received a report of a collision that involved a motorcyclist and a vehicle at the bottom of Peden Hill. Emergency services along with police went to the scene. The 36 year old male motorcyclist was transported to hospital for treatment of serious injuries after the motorcycle he was riding on ran into the back of a pick-up truck.
The truck was coming down the hill and had stopped for a red light when the collision occurred. Immediately following the collision police received several calls from the public providing information about the riding behaviour of the motorcyclist prior to the collision.
Police were then able to issue a provincial ticket with a fine of $368 for driving without due care and attention. RCMP would like to thank the members of the public who stopped and assisted with medical care until emergency services arrived.
