Terrace RCMP are asking for help following a suspicious death just east of the city early Sunday.
Police received a call about an intoxicated pedestrian on Highway 16 east at 1:45 that morning, but were unable to find the man.
Mounties were once again called out later that morning around 5 a.m. for a man on Thornhill Frontage Road which runs parallel to Highway 16.
Officers found an unresponsive man who was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The man, identified as Kamloops resident Blaine Frisk, was pronounced dead a few hours later.
RCMP are asking anyone with dash camera footage of Highway 16 and its parallel roads along the strip between Highway 37 and the Thornhill sign between midnight and 5 a.m. to contact the Terrace detachment.
Investigators also want to hear from anyone who had contact with Blaine Frisk after 1 a.m. to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
