The RCMP is looking to unite owners with their missing or stolen bikes.
Dozens of found or retrieved bikes are currently in their possession. They urge the owners of these bikes to come forward as soon as possible and not to wait long to claim them as long as they have proof it’s their bike.
The bikes are typically held for 90 days, if no one comes to claim the bikes then they will either be destroyed or donated to community programs or returned to theif finder.
Terrace RCMP will keep opening its doors Monday to Thursday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to help people register with 529 garage. It is a free bike theft-prevention program.
