Terrace Search and Rescue was able to help evacuate an injured runner from Terrace Mountain Wednesday morning.
The woman was running with a friend when she slipped a broke her leg near the ankle.
The SAR team was able to splint the runner’s leg, start warming her up, and transport her on a stretcher to BC Ambulance paramedics waiting at Kitselas Road.
Terrace Search and Rescue thanked two non-SAR bystanders with help evacuating the runner.
