Terrace’s Sande Overpass was closed for nearly 2 hours following a collision which sent one to hospital.
Police were called out to the scene just before 11:00 this morning where a tow truck had reportedly hit a pedestrian.
Shortly afterward, police determined that the driver was not at fault, and issued the pedestrian a ticket for failing to yield to the vehicle.
They were taken to hospital after suffering non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash.
Highway 16’s westbound lane and the right turning lane off of the Overpass were briefly closed, but reopened around 1:30.
At the time of te collision, the tow truck had been hauling a garbage truck.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
