Building on its success over the past 2 years, Smithers Pride 2019 is set to take place later this month.
Anyone looking to support or celebrate the LGBTQ+ community are welcome to attend the event between May 24th and 25th.
Live music, food, vendors, and educational information will all be available at the two day event.
The Bulkley Valley Museum will also be on site to gather stories of LGBTQ+ experiences within the Bulkley Valley.
On Friday May 24th, Smithers Secondary School will launched the celebrations at 11:30 with youth-centric activities.
On the following day, all community members will be invited to participate in the kickoff at 11:00 on Main Street, leading in to a number of activites throughout the day.
