RCMP are treating a threat received at Skeena Middle School seriously, despite an apparent low threat level.
Earlier this week, a message was discovered written on a mirror in one of the school’s bathrooms foretelling a shooting.
According to the message, the shooting was to take place yesterday or today.
A letter was sent home with students to notify them of the school’s actions to quell the threat.
Both RCMP and school officials evaluated the threat, deeming it not to be serious.
But both are still treating the situation very seriously to ensure the safety of both students and faculty.
