Former Tahltan Central Council President Annita McPhee is throwing her hat in the race to succeed Nathan Cullen.
McPhee, who grew up in Telegraph Creek, says she wants to help build and improve the relationships that impact the region.
Annita highlighted climate change, economic improvements, and the housing crisis as some of the focal points of her campaign.
She went on to say that, if elected, she hopes to play a role in bridging the gap between the quality of services available in the southern mainland and those in the north.
NDP from the Skeena-Bulkley Valley federal riding will decide who will represent them at a meeting in Terrace on May 25th.
McPhee’s addition brings the total number of candidates running to replace Cullen to 4.
