The Cariboo Regional District has issued a new evacuation alert and expanded another due to wildfire activity.
The CRD says the new evacuation alert is for the Shag Creek Area. The fire was last mapped at 300 hectares and considered a wildfire of note.
The BC Wildfire Service says crews had to be pulled off the fire because of its volatile behaviour Tuesday.
The expanded alert covers a region in the Tatelkuz Lake vicinity.
The CRD says there are no other wildfires threatening structures in the regional district.
