Environment Canada says Terrace, Kitimat, and Williams Lake can expect some scorching hot weather this week.
Forecasters have issued heat warnings for inland sections of the North and Central Coast along with the South Cariboo.
Daytime highs of 30 degrees are expected around Kitimat and Terrace while Williams Lake south to 100 Mile will get to the mid-30s by Thursday.
The night won’t be much better, with temperatures in the mid teens overnight.
Cooler temperatures for Kitimat and Terrace will begin sometime Thursday while the Cariboo will have to wait until Friday for things to cool off.
