A Haisla hip-hop duo have been nominated for a prestigious music award.
The Snotty Nose Rez Kids are one of ten recording artists named to the 2018 Polaris Prize short list for their release “The Average Savage”.
The Polaris Prize awards $50,000 for the Canadian Album of the Year,” judged solely on artistic merit, without consideration for genre or record sales”.
This year’s winner will be announced at the Polaris Music Prize Gala in Toronto September 17.
