A major sinkhole causing traffic delays in Prince George could apparently take up to two months to fix.
Though the city believes the sinkhole at Winnipeg Street and Carney Street can be repaired, they have yet to determine the exact cause of the problem.
At this point a corroded stormwater pipe, or a break in the pipe where the material shifts are the leading possibilities, but repairs cannot begin until they are sure.
Repairs could see the intersection completely closed and could cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
