New hunting and trapping rules and regulations are set to take effect on July 1st.
The new rules, released yesterday, will remain in effect until June 30th 2020 and look to ensure better conservation of habitats, promote safety, and enhance recreational opportunities.
Every 2 years, the rules are update to make sure they are as relevant as possible.
In the Skeena, the major changes involve antler restricted moose seasons and new compulsory inspection requirements.
