The Coast Guard Environment Response Team are responding to an early morning crash near Hotspring Island.
At around 6:40 this morning, the 40 foot Venture H ran aground and began to take on water on the south side of the island.
All 4 crew members are safe and the 1200 litres of fuel onboard has not leaked so far.
Prince Rupert Coast Guard and Gwaii Hanaas staff are currently dealing with the fallout.
