It may be named slightly differently from similar events in Terrace and Prince Rupert, but the goal of the Quesnel RCMP’s Stuff the Cruiser Campaign is the same.
Generous residents joined RCMP outside the West Park Mall for their 2nd annual rendition of the event from December 11th to the 12th.
This year, residents sought to fill an enclosed trailer provided by Active Rent-All.
When all was said and done, more than 1,000 pounds of non-perishable food items were donated, along with 670 pounds worth of toys.
An additional 3,800 dollars in cash, and 445 in gift cards were donated as well.
All donations will go towards supporting the local Salvation Army, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and the Seniors Living Society.
